Smart and remote input and output expansion units that allow the I/O modules to be expanded over the RS485 for industrial monitoring and control applications. Possibility of combining up to 50 different compatible I/O modules, including analog input/output, digital input/output and counter/frequency I/O modules.

Hot swapping, without turning off the power to replace or plug in the I/O modules
I/O module configuration can be preconfigured and stored in the non-volatile memory of the expansion unit
