MTX-EOS, new entry level router

We are launching the new MTX-EOS, an entry level router developed for industrial applications. It has a very compact design with a resistant case and accessories for mounting on a DIN rail. It has dual SIM, 3x Ethernet, VPN client and 3 antennas included (another one for optional GPS). The MTX-EOS can be used in many different IoT applications such as kiosk, telemetry, remote sensing, smart grid, security, industrial automation, etc. Furthermore, the MTX-EOS is compatible with Cervello Stem IoT Platform, free for one year with this device.

From Matrix Electronica we closely follow the evolution of the coronavirus (COVID-19). We have already taken preventive actions since end of February and, day by day, we adapt them to the changing situation and our government’s new recommendations. All these actions are aimed at minimizing the impact on the supply chain and product development. Today we can affirm that we continue working at 100% of our capabilities. Some of these actions are:

In order to guarantee personnel safety and ensure performance, all departments are working from home-office.
All R&D developments continue forward, without delays, according to our roadmap.
Both, the commercial department and Customer Service are fully available.
For safety reasons all commercial trips and customer site meetings are cancelled.
All operations at our warehouse have been conditioned and restructured to ensure safety, avoiding contagions and maintain the supply chain. Despite this, during this situation some possible small delays in delivery may be happened. Please understand and apologize for any inconvenience.

MTX in Automaticon with our distributor in Poland, Maritex

Automaticon 2020, the most important Industrial Automation fair in Poland with influence throughout the Eastern European area, is held in mid-May, which expects about 9,500 professionals from one of the most booming sectors in IoT . The XXI edition will be held in the capital of Poland, Warsaw, with 276 exhibitors and 490 companies represented.

This year, we visit Automaticon for the first time with our distributor in Poland, Maritex, with whom we will share space at stand D-17. Our International Business Developer will be supporting our Maritex colleagues and answering the questions of those interested in our devices. Thanks to this new opening we hope to increase the volume of business and the service provided in countries such as China, Indonesia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Thailand or Vietnam, which will be able to more easily access IoT solutions with our innovative and powerful MTX devices (routers, modems and gateways) and the Cervello IoT platform.

New modem MTX-IoT-S with 8x digital I/O and 2x ADC

The new MTX-IoT-S is a 4G (LTE), 3G and 2G modem programmable in Java and characterized by its 8 digital inputs/outputs and 2 ADCs that convert analog signal to digital (at 4-20mA). In addition, it includes other interfaces such as RS232 and RS485, relay, USB 2.0, possibility of working in Ultra Low Power mode, backup battery, etc. All this, together with the option of adding GPS or RF communications through its expansion port, make it a benchmark in its segment, both in terms of capacity and power, as well as the number and variety of interfaces. MTX-IoT-S is fully compatible with Cervello IoT Platform and with MTX-Tunnel, which makes it a powerful gateway without the need of further programming skills.

What can I do with the new MTX-IoT-S?

Sending alarms by SMS or voice call

MTX-IoT-S is able to send alarms by SMS or voice call with changes in the devices connected to any of its 8 digital inputs.

Sending telemetry up to 8 digital inputs

MTX-IoT-S can send real-time measurements from up to 8 digital inputs via MQTT to, for example, Cervello IoT platform.

Remote management of up to 8 relays or digital outputs

MTX-IoT-S allows you to remotely manage via MQTT, Telnet, SMS or voice call up to 8 relays or digital outputs.

Automatic activation of relays/digital outputs based on the Modbus registers collected

MTX-IoT-S is capable of automatically activating or deactivating up to 8 relays or digital outputs depending on the Modbus registers collected. In addition, you can automatically notify this status change to the Cervello IoT platform using MQTT.

All this examples add up to everything you can already do with MTX-IoT, MTX-Java-T and MTX-Java-T2.

MTX and MTX-StarFire, their new Gateway BMS, in Dubai for GITEX Technology Week

MTX will be present at GITEX Technology Week presenting its new line of IoT gateways for BMS (Building Management System) and with special attention to MTX-StarFire alarm connectivity devices.

GITEX, which will be held from October 6 to 10 at the Dubai World Trade Center, is the largest technology fair in the Middle East, North Africa and Southeast Asia. With more than 4800 exhibitors from 140 different countries, it is estimated that more than 100 thousand people will attend. Stop by the MTX stand in the Zabeel hall, stand Z3-D24, where our powerful industrial devices (routers, modems, gateways and custom equipment) will be available, which together with the IoT Cervello platform form an integral solution for infinite IoT applications.

MTX-StarFire I

The MTX-StarFire I is an innovative BMS gateway for alarm management systems (fire, smoke, gas…) with a complete set of interfaces including 8 universal analog inputs, designed to work with EOLR (End of Line Resistors). It is programmed in Java and its optimized low consumption with a LiPo battery allows it to continue working, with continuous communication with Cervello IoT Platfom, for more than 12-24 hours without any external power supply. Designed in a protective metal case.

MTX-StarFire II

The MTX-StarFire II, relative of the MTX-StarFire I, is also a BMS gateway for alarm management systems with more analog inputs, which can add up to 36. It also has 2x RS485 and Ethernet. Unlike the MTX-StarFire I it is programmed in Linux, and needs external power supply.
